Has xbox live been acting wierd like everytime you go to your dashboard it won't connect you to xbox live? Its been happening to all my friends and now we can't even joing a game on halo or cod4 =/

their server hosting the dashboard stores are acting funky.. Notice that even though you are signed in it says you're not, yet when you start a game like halo 3 you can still play multiplayer?

I know but even tho you can play multi it takes forever esspecialy on COD4 =/ i hope they fix it i wonder if it could be all the people that got xbox live but i highly doubt it i mean it couldn't be so much to make live slow.

a friend of mine phoned an xbox help centre and they claim that part of the problem is that the number of xbox 360's sold this christmas plus more gold accounts has exceded their expectations and they are having trouble coping

i dont know wether this is true or not, but it sounds plausible... but ive been having problems at least 2 weeks before christmas and it seems to be up and down

some days i cannot even connect and am greeted with a loading screen for 15minutes, other times it takes about 5 minutes to decide if it wants to send my messages before it tells me it cannot complete the process. downloaded movies freeze up and are unwatchable

come on microsoft, i pay money for this and im not the only one getting sick of all this crap... i blame the latest update, wasnt really having too many problems until i updated and a lot of people i play with seem to agree

yeah that stupid thing that added bio and stuff it has been worse ever since that but as bad as its been getting

yeah, the update has made a big difference, but to be honest, live never runs smoothly... i always encounter little problems that dont really bother me too much, like having to send messages twice or screens freezing for 20 seconds or so... but i just used to sigh and put up with it. but since the update my patience is beginning to wear away (im a real laid back placid person and it takes a lot to annoy me), especially when my connection goes halfway through a game of gears with all my friends, i dont care so much when im playing with random people... but when its your mates and you are having a laugh and then someone dissapears every 2 minutes then you get booted.. just grates after a while
