Hello, I picked up AC yesterday, played it for a bit. It's getting polarized reviews, however, I think reviewers are picking it apart. The game is beautiful, in every aspect I think. Definately sets a new standard for controlled character animation, artistic and flawlessly crafted scenery, could go on and on. I am pretty sure it will be shot down ultimately due to the fact there was some sort of transformation in the gamers eyes where a game "must" have multiplayer for a game to be the best.

The darkness is a good example of why I believe that isn't true.

Yes AC is a single player game, story driven, and very much isolated to the awe and jaw droppingly gorgeous masterpiece that it is for me so far, but you know...... I feel games like shadow of the colossus can still exist in this world of tiny epeen multiplayer lusty teenagers.

Multiplayer is not a must for a game to be great.

What do you guys feel about this.

later./

Added info.. So far i have been running into very very minor visual glitches in the game.. nothing serious.. just lighting problems on character models... patches of textures will flicker as if layers are clipping one another.. but thats it.. otherwise fantastic game.

My brother is picking it up soon, it looks amazing I cant wait.

I havent played AC but heres my opinion on the game, like if it matters...
well the game does look gorgeous but by reading the reviews is what i was scared to pick up the game, the game is monotonous in some stances, like every other game, but i dont think the idea of following someone is something interesting on a game. I played oblivion and on some of the chores you have to do is follow someone around...and its boring!!! I found AC innovating by the way the character controls with each button, which not all games have it and not all games have it match to what they actually want. I guess if Hitman, Splinter Cell is your type of game, then its a must buy.

superb graphics... Awesome gameplay.... :D
