Thread starter [Ok I have a 60gb ps3 and lots of my dvd's cant play correctly on it. the picture blinks and changes colors and goes blank sometimes. if i watch these dvd's on any one of my dvd players it shows up perfectly. These are just some of my dvds. blade trinity, and disturbia work on it. x men III, and alot of other movies dont.

Zyruss, I am assuming right away that all the videos are pirated. Because I once did a pirated copy of a dvd using a different program than I normally use and it wouldn't play on my ps3, What I recommend is using DVD shrink and Nero burner, these 2 programs unite as one, so all you have to do is fire up dvd shrink and when the burning part comes in, nero is already embedded in shrink so it will start burning once you put the blank dvd in place. This will enable all your pirated vids to play on your ps3.

you just gotta find a program that will convert it to .mp4.......or do what Metallic said, that might help.... thanks guys but not all of them are pirated, matter of fact shooter is pirated but it works fine....
i use nero as a burner It's possible that some movies you have a region locked and will not play, or check the video settings, ex: turn off upscaler, "full range hdmi", play around and see what happens.
