Apparently, they don't want to let Sony get away with the PS3 price drop.

Actually they were long over due to drop the price. The 360 has gone the longest with out a price cut than any other system out there to date.

Agreed, they say it's an accomplishment that they were able to maintain sales without a price drop. I think it was just seriously overdue. Still, it was well timed despite that, serving as both a counter to Sony's drop and to help cushion the blow for people who might want to make the leap to current-gen for upcoming games.

God I want Bioshock.
