Just wondering, what are the differences and similarities between the DS lite and the Regular DS. Besides from appearance, are there any hardware or gaming/graphic/processing changes?

Well you can change the brightness of the screen to 4 different settings and that's with it unpluged to an AC whatever. It does have a nice glossy feel at the top but can catch fingerprints easily. The D-PAD is a extremly dissapointment because it is so hard to use so I would keep your old DS for games that use the D-pad (i.e metroid) while you use game like wario ware that only use the touch screen on the lite. The stylus is now longer and thicker which is a good thing.

no the d pad is better maybe ur fingers r just to big?I guess if u have big hands keep the ugly one if u have relativly small hands get tjhe nice looking ds lite.
