Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This dam playstation is about to get thrown out for good. I had no problems playing online when I first got the system. It has been about 7 months now and I can't play online without constantly getting server timeouts and error codes 8002ad23 and 8002a548. I am tired of getting booted off of the Playstation network. The internet works fine. All of my ports are open. I have no security on my router. The media servers are off.I have NAT type 2 upnp is availabel. MTU 1500 netgear router wireless g. The system is connected to it wired. Even when I hook the system directly up to the modem I still get the same issues. Does anyone know what the hell the problem is and how to really fix it? Any tech experts or is my ps3 just broken?

Hey...I had to deal with taht stupid 8002ad23 for about a year. It got so bad that I was being kicked off 2 minutes within every game. Because I've never had problems with internet, I did EVERYTHING to fix my playstation (think it was the PS3 that was screwed)... I input the mac address, disabled media server, put the ps3 in dmz, enabled upnp, went wired through router... etc etc... nothing worked! Finally, after being satisfied that I had done everything I could... I bought a new router (Lynksys G)... hooked it up... and played my COD 4 & 5 with no interruptions! Freak'n awesome! I canned the old router that I had because it was a piece of junk (just purchased it a year ago). Anyway moral of the storey is.... spare your tiime and frustration... buy a new router!

Do not do anything to your PS3 that might void warranty. This is not a problem with your PS3 or Router or Modem or Internet. It is SONY's PSN servers. How could this many people have it set up they way they tell you but it don't work right. BS SONY FIX THIS.

im haveing the same problem on my main account by that i mean the 1 i use 4 cod4 and5 and every other game i play but i can sign on to other accounts so if ur "main" account isnt that important u could try that if u havent already
