FOR ALL PLAYSTATION 3 OWNERS.........

I was messing around with my settings today as i wanted to see if i could play different region DVDs... Cant , but on my travels i found how to get true HDMI .... I have got a gold hdmi cable so that may of made it better for me but try it

On Settings go to Display Settings. Then the last 2 options are for HDMI... Change RBG Full range from limited to Full... Then the last option Super white, On....... Theres also settings for better doovde picture and allround sound.....

i thought it was the 60 gb that had HD.....not the 20 gb

Who said anything about 20gb?????? I have the 60gb, no messing around with me, lol... It is already hd but you can make itbetter :D

I actually don't recommend to do what your saying there Puss3.

Your so called "true HD" are for better viewing, if your t.v has hdmi 1.2/3 then you can change the settings to just give better color, this may also hurt some T.Vs if it can't handle the increased contrast.

yeah, but they wouldn't be there AT all if it was fine for every t.v... but you can switch it on and off, clearly saying that it's not for every t.v

ive got HDMI 1.3 in my TV... and i already had my TV set to tight values, like ultra white and everything.. so ill just leave my PS3 the way it is.

what does the ultra white setting actually does? My tv doesnt supports it, so i was just wondering......
