0Someone broke it and it's not under warranty. I don't care that much though because they will be paying for it. So any of my friends, the only way you can get through my for three weeks is through this site. I'll tell everyone when I have it back.

How on earth did your friend break your Wii? Did you lend it to him?
I got invited to a Best Buy event and they totally had Wii's for sale. Secret stuff... I just showed up to check it out and could have got one. Didnt have the cash though. 
I've got a friend who has 3 (2 in box) but refuses to sell any. He's a weird kid.
Other than that, these things are STILL impossible to find 7 months after release.

supply and demand. keep supplies low and demand goes high. if nintendo actually released all the wiis they have they would sell a crap load but then sales would plateau which is not what they want.
One chinese mall near my area (North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is already selling a modded Wii for about $60CAN more and it comes with 5 burned games.

I like the wii, but the situation is more like this: VERY low supply low-medium demand. one of my friends has been looking for a wii since he got his 360 and his ps3 in january, but he still can't find one. It might just be that he doesn't try that hard to find one, but he usually looks for one every weekend.

Clearly, I thought i could trust him just to put a simple GC memory card into the memory card slot, but I guess not. He shoved it in pretty bad. The memory card's OK, but the Wii will suffer.

not true u can get one they are showing up at stores now. i could of bought one many times and i live in new york.
I have seen some Wiis at my local Best Buy during the weekdays, but by the weekend they are all gone. People coming over from Mexico are crazy for Wiis.

Of course a GC memory card fits in a Wii.
m...thought it was only the Sandisk memory cards/sticks
