Hey guys, fanboyism has been occuring alot on this site. And myself and others think it's time to stop. Fanboyism is basically an act of ignorance. We could go on all day bringing out the faults and advantages in each system.

Some are skeptical about the Wiimote, does that mean is sucks? No.

People think since the Xbox360 is old, it will lose the console wars. Is this true? No.

Some say PS3 is too big and is too much money.

We could go on and on people. The topic of Console Wars is ultimately a politically uncorrect topic. The winner is in the eye of the beholder, not who makes the most money and who has the least expensive console and who gets the best reviews. Why spend time arguing and flaming different systems? Gamers should be one big group of people. Not some people hating others because their lack of choosing "the right console." We can be supporting eachother in our decisions. Shouldn't we be supporting each console? What's the point of flaming different systems? It all seems like an immature game to me. Am I the only one that sees a future of multi-console online gaming? Am I the only one that sees a future of helping, not competing?

We can ALL play together.
We can ALL play behond.
We can ALL be revolutionised.

here is a typical scenario, someone has spent a lot of money on a next gen console, they love it and play it all the time, then somebody else comes along and buys a different console, the first guy cannot understand that the other guy isnt getting the same console and wants to know why...sure enough, there is a disagreement and an arguement ensues! and all through lack of understanding! even if there was only 1 console ppl would argue about games and genres...it is the same with everything in life

The reason I didn't provide an answer for that one is because the PS3 gives you what you pay for. I thought that was a no-brainer pspnwii and TJ10, and besides right now the only next-gen system I have is a Wii.

Uh..Tubtak, you're actually doing the 'fanboy' thing, when you say 'the PS3 gives you what you pay for.'. They all have value, in my opinion. If I get the Xbox..I'll want the Ps3..etc.

Chance I meant that the thing has a Blu-Ray Player, which is actually about $1000. Face it thats about the cheapest way to go. Wii you get what you pay for too. Same goes with Xbox.

I figured as much.. It seems like lately, a person gets attacked for even having an opinion in these forums, let ALONE prefering one console over another. WAY too much hating going on. It's killing the fun. I like your topic and agree with what you have to say Tubtak. Well said.

Wow.. not only do I not think these forums are stupid, I'm amazed by how many decent and thoughtful people there are here. This blog isn't a failure if it stops one fanboy from posting garbage just to iritate or antagonize.
... Ya, there are some that are obviously just here to stir up trouble (like a monkey throwing feces at a zoo), but there are MANY that come to these forums to learn about whats new, and get honest opinions from real gamers about their real experiences with games. I think that's what keeps this site alive. A great community of decent gamers. I know that if I ever have a problem I can't figure out, I can just post on here and get 20 helpful comments in about 2 days and 3 people telling me to google it

. That's fair. There are 10 people I can message TODAY to help me get a dvd onto my PsP if needed and to me thats what matters. Not the 5-6 fanboys that litter the forums with useless drivel about which console they prefer to spend their life savings on.
... You know whats wierd? The only people that argue this are poor people. <Take me for instance

Gamers of the world, unite!

We are all bound by a love of gaming... The details arent important to what system we like over others... We all love gaming.

Because of this we have a common bond... Something to share and unite us. Beacuse of that we can join together to make a difference in the world.

Instead we are warring amungs ourselves to argue something subjective. This needs to stop. There are far larger issues we should be concerned about and not which system is better... There isnt one. It's all personal preference.

Dude, I was on this site since day 1. But I stopped coming on it over time due to fanboy-facist-n00bz.
Console wars should be held for the Developers, and Companys who make the consoles themselves. NOT US!

They should be fighting over on how to make a better game, and entertaining experience... we shouldn't be fighting. We should be bashing in Sony's face when they don't give what we want, we should pimp slap MS whenever they make something retarded (like the 360's D-pad), we should mock Nintendo for its cute and cuddley games...

We are the consumers, we should stop fighting, and point the fingers at the Companys, and Developers to make better hardware, and games.
