I dont know if this should be a blog or a forum topic but I just wanted to share some Info on Monster Hunter Freedom with all the people skeptic about buying this because it got bad reviews. But let me state first that most of those reviews are WRONG!!!!

The first thing that comes to my mind in Monster Hunter well....its the Monsters...in the opening scene you see some the monsters traveling. The Graphics at this part is AMAZING!!!!! I love this scene its so life like...kinda like the Dinosaurs never died :P. One of the best parts of this game is the graphics even in the beginning you see the power of the PSP. the Monsters are life size most of them are bigger than you and it shows...some of them are viscious and the others dont want anything to do with you. A side effect of the very impressive graphics is the Load times..if you dont like waiting then why dont you do something while waiting. There not that long but I dont mind. I rather play a amazing looking game and wait at load times then play a ugly looking game and short load times. I know I've been talking about the graphics but this is truely about the monsters so lets talk about them. The monsters look intimidating. They are as big as they are scary. some monsters are really small and hard to hit with slow weapons which adds an extra challenge.

The monsters are intimidating but you know whats even more intimidating????? the WEAPONS XD...I love the weapons in this game each is balanced really well. For example lets take the great sword(Kinda reminds me of Cloud's giant sword) this sword is about as tall as you and its heavy. the reason I like this game is that the weapons feel life like because the great sword is a big weapon and a big weapon has to be heavy and hard to hit with so when attacking with the great sword it takes some time but very powerful.

This game also has some comedy in it and I love the theme for the cooking of Raw meat thingy :P I only played this game for a while and its fun..I recommend it to everybody looking for a game and has a lot of spare time...I would think that this game is like a PSP version of World of Warcraft or Guild Wars. So if you like those games then this is the game for you.....some thing that I would like to state is that this game does not have a Story but even without it you'll still get 100 hours of gameplay out of it. I will post my full review sometime when I complete my game so be ready :P

doesnt have a story....are you telling me that you turn he game on and you are just standing there with i big sword with no clue...and then think to yourself'mmm its called monster hunter, i spose i gotta hunt some monsters!'

it must have some kind of story...if it doesnt then what is the motivation to play? how does it last 100 hours...i need something to keep my brain active, not just my fingers. are there stats, is it online, what is the aim of the game? bit more detail about things that matter would be cool

nope, theres no story. you have missions to hunt some creatures or find some items and deliver em, but theres no story to the game whatsoever.

heres the story: you wanna be a hunter, so you go out and kill stuff

Forget story, this is a kick-ass action-RPG with plenty of stuff to kill!

And for once, your reward isn't money that magically spout out of the creature's ass but resources like hide and teeth (used for creating items) ^^

Read my review @ PSP411.com and you’ll most definitely be interested in what this wonderful hack ‘n slash has to offer. Of course, if you are the type who cannot stand a game that has no real story then MHF isn’t for you. Move along.

Heh what do you know, my review is available here as well ^^
